The galvanized steel rope according to ГОСТ 3066-80 consists of six strands and a steel core. The main field of application of the rope is mast extensions, suspension ropeways, installation works, cable suspension, securing of loads or structures. Due to the presence of a hard metal core, the rope according to ГОСТ 3066-80 has increased tensile strength. The galvanized coating protects the surface of the rope from corrosion and allows its use in conditions of increased environmental aggressiveness.
