Galvanized turnbuckle (screed) is used to tension and adjust the length of ropes, cables, chains and rigging. Length adjustment is achieved by rotating the turnbuckle case around its axis. The main areas of application of turnbuckles are installation of a match, extensions, advertising signs, ship rigging, suspended and high-altitude work. Conforms to the international standard ASTM F1145-92, has a galvanized coating.
The turnbuckle designation corresponds to the thread pitch of the bolt.
