Steel rope according to ГОСТ 7669-80 consists of six strands and a metal core. The rope is characterized by a large tensile strength, high strength, low deformation coefficient under loads. It is used in hoisting mechanisms and hoisting-and-transport machines, on road machines, metallurgical cranes, for inclined lifting of goods in mines. It is advisable to use a steel rope ГОСТ 7669-80 with strong abrasive wear, high loads, high ambient temperature.
